What We Believe

WE BELIEVE THE BIBLE

We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments to be the verbally inspired word of God, error free in the original manuscripts, and the supreme authority for Christian faith and practice.

WE BELIEVE IN GOD

We believe in one living and true God eternally existing in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Who are equal in every divine perfection. .

WE BELIEVE IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ to be true God and true man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. We believe that He died on the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice to provide salvation for all who receive Him as Savior; that he physically arose from the dead, ascended into heaven and is now exalted at the right hand of God where he represents and intercedes for his people.

WE BELIEVE IN THE HOLY SPIRIT

We believe the Holy Spirit to be a personal being who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and regenerates, sanctifies, and empowers all who believe in Jesus Christ. He baptizes every believer into the body of Christ, indwelling and sealing them unto the day of redemption.

WE BELIEVE ABOUT MAN...

We believe that mankind was directly created in the image of God to glorify God and to enjoy His fellowship, but that through Adam’s sin the race fell. Consequently, all people inherited a corrupt nature, became alienated from God, and are unable of themselves to remedy this lost condition.

WE BELIEVE IN SALVATION ..

We believe that salvation is by grace alone, received through faith in Jesus Christ, who died for our sins according to the Scriptures. All who believe in Him are declared righteous by the Father on the basis of Jesus Christ’s life, death and resurrection, and are kept by God’s power and are thus secure in Christ forever. Good works do not earn or maintain salvation, but good works and changed lives are the inevitable results of salvation
